A True Jungle Village!!!
lush rainforest beautiful view friendly atmosphere
The hotel is in the rainforest, I saw beautiful tropical flowers and foliage. The site slopes toward the river, it is wide and fast-flowing, with beautiful views from my suite and the restaurant. The resort reminded me of a village. It has an interwoven, friendly feel. The buildings include an open-air room with a gamelan and an art studio.
My room felt old and somewhat dark with a slight musty smell. There wasn't really a comfortable place to sit inside the room. The balcony wasn't great and overlooked the back of a building.

Muri and the restaurant staff looked after me very kindly. I loved the evening restaurant meals, they included live cultural dance performances. It was a higher standard than I expected. The food was AMAZING!!!

The staff offer interactive workshops, I enjoyed these . I loved my workshops with Pushpa, Purnama, and Saras. I learned about Balinese dance, gamelan music, painting, and offering-making. It was hands-on and very satisfying.
